August 2025 Walks

Save the dates for next month’s walks!
Walk times and meeting locations:

SAT, August 9th, 4:30 PM: Meet at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, Green Bay. One-hour walk at the Wildlife Sanctuary – free admission. We’ll meet by the main building entrance at 4:30 PM.
BONUS: We’ll head down the road to Paradise North Distillery after our walk. This chill waterfront distillery offers spectacular views of the Bay and a variety of craft cocktails and mocktails!

TUES, August 12th, 5:00 PM: Meet at the Neville Public Museum parking lot (Free parking) at 210 Museum Place, Green Bay. This is a downtown Green Bay walk on the trail and sidewalks. It is a 2-mile walk that will take approximately 50 minutes.
BONUS: This walk is a collab with The Nest coworking and event space in Downtown Green Bay! At the end of our walk, we’ll have a chance to tour the space and enjoy a refreshment break.

SAT, August 23rd, 8:00 PM: Night walk! We’ll be catching the Light Up the Fox boat parade on our walk. Meet at the Neville Public Museum parking lot (Free parking) at 210 Museum Place, Green Bay. This is a downtown walk along both sides of the Fox River, entirely on paved trails and sidewalks. This 2-mile walk will take approximately 50 minutes. Feel free to bring illuminated safety gear or lights.
BONUS: The Light Up the Fox Boat parade is a parade of boats decorated in lights on the Fox River. This free event is best viewed from Neville Public Museum, Leicht Park, and City Deck – all locations we’ll stop at on our walk.

WEDS, August 27th, 5:00 PM: Meet at Green Bay Botanical Garden for a walk around the grounds. Admission is required, but on Wednesday evenings, it is buy-one-get-one admission. ($7.50 per adult). We’ll meet at the main building of the Garden by the entrance.  The Green Bay Botanical Garden is a 47-acre garden with over 120,000 plants from around the world. Our walk is a casual 1-hour stroll around the grounds.
